Cara Research Ltd - Practical solutions to complex problems

Vision

"Without change, no control is necessary"

Approximately half of all new businesses in the UK fail within the first 2 years.

Change happens

A significant part of business failure is caused by lack of information and/or the arrogance of senior management[1], coupled with human error. 'I'm in charge' does not imply 'I know what I'm doing'.

The Cara Methodology focuses on the main cause of organisational failure - the inabilty to see, and therefore evaluate, the nature and scope of current and impending problems. Organisational distress is created by a combination of factors distributed across the schema shown above.

  • Cara provides a means of understanding the real nature of issues facing an organisation and the likely effects of management initiatives and interventions.
  • The method allows a full understanding of the causal nature of decision making. The model used is derived from an extensive analysis suite developed from data representing hundreds of organisations across the public and private sector.
  • The key element in understanding the Cara vision is that the insight it offers is created from an analysis suite that concentrates on the many complex relationships that exist within modern organaistions. Any organistion is difficult or sometimes impossible to analyse through its individual parts considered alone. Combinations of many simple interactions can lead to surprising results often unanticpated by the initiators of action.
  • Cara makes extensive use of modelling that uses as its base powerful sets of data analysis. The results are visual presentations, that allow users real information to interact with their business in ways that were previously unimagined.
